Students Learn Skills In High-Demand Industries
-
The District Focus Health Sciences Innovation Institute is connected with the Rural Health Association of Tennessee and its free curriculum. Students can also participate in the WTHC Medical Explorers.
Through the JMCSS Workforce Development Center, students can take a Phlebotomy and EKG class at JSCC, in collaboration with TCAT Jackson. This offers a clear pathway from high school to work.
The West Tennessee Healthcare LOOP 2.0 Partnership also allows students to reimage work-based learning. Many of these students work a 3:00-7:00 p.m. shift, reimagining time of learning.
