Teaching Students Creativity & Self-Expression Through Music

JCM is building a new Digital Audio Production program through the Science of Sound Technology Institute. This will allow students to have authentic learning experiences using digital audio workstations that house Pro Tools music editing software and equipment used in the music industry. If approved, the Digital Audio Production Program of Study will serve as a model for the first program of its kind in West Tennessee.

In addition, JCM's Principal Dorsey and Mrs. Reeves took an inspiration trip to MTSU to see the impressive Music Production Department in preparation to hire a digital music arts educator to lead their new Music Production classes where students learn how to produce music in a recording studio.
