Mr. James Walker, Jr.

Mr. James Walker Jr. joined the JCT faculty as principal in the 2018-2019 school year. Mr. Walker is a product of the Jackson-Madison County School System, having graduated from Jackson Central Merry High School. He previously served as assistant principal at South Side High School from 2012-2014 before a very successful tenure as principal at Humboldt High School for four years. 

Mr. Walker has taught and coached at the high school and collegiate levels with experience in Tipton and Fayette Counties, as well as Lambuth University, Morehouse College, Lane College and Springhill College. He received his undergraduate from Morehouse, Master's in Education from Union University and his Education Specialist degree from Freed-Hardeman University. 

Mr. Walker is excited to give back to the Jackson community by investing in the students at JCT.
